Q: How do I find my baby's 4-digit number?
A: You must find your baby's# by looking through all of the thumbnails and let all your friends and family know which # to vote for. This is only needed for text votes. To vote online you can simply click the bubble associated with your favorite baby.
Q: How do I vote?
A: Vote one of 2 ways:
a) Vote online: Make sure you are registered at the Q Baby Idol site. Then sign in and vote online where you find the right baby photo.
b) Text vote: Text the word "qbaby" (space) then the 4-digit number of the baby you'd like to vote for to 68255
Q: When will voting begin?
A: Monday, April 15, 201 at 9:00am.
Q: When will voting end?
A: Friday, April 26, 2013 at 3:30pm.
Q: When will the winner be announced?
A: The winner will be announced during the Q Morning Show week of April 29, 2013. Listen to Q97.9 for an announcement.
Q: When sending multiple text votes, I do not always receive a response. Does that mean those votes aren't being counted?
A: If you send in numerous texts, you may not always receive a confirmation reply, however your votes are being counted. If you do not receive ANY auto-replies after voting, that may mean your votes are not going through.
Q: How can I see how many votes my baby is getting?
A: You can't. Just like the show on TV, you won't know who wins until the end.
Q: How many times can I vote?
A: You may vote an unlimited amount. All votes must be submitted manually. Any use of software that automates the process of voting is prohibited. If the use of automated software is suspected in the submission of votes those votes will not be counted.
Q: Do I get charged extra when I text?
A: We DO NOT charge any extra fees for you to vote. Standard text rates apply per individual service plans.

PHOTO SUBMISSIONS:
Q: What is the deadline for photo submissions?
A: 3:30pm EST on Friday, April 12, 2013. Photos received after this date and time will be disqualified.
Q: May I submit more than one photo?
A: No, only one photo per baby is allowed.
Q: What's the age restriction?
A: Two years old to the day; up to 2nd birthday, born between 4/1/11 & 4/1/13.
Q: How do I know you got my photo?
A: You will receive a confirmation e-mail to let you know if your photo has been received and approved.
Q: I have twins. How do I submit them?
A: Twins should be submitted with one photo as one entry. This will make it obvious they are twins and not two separate entries of the same child.
Q: I have two babies under 2 years old. How do I submit them?
A: All photos should be submitted individually each by a legal guardian. Since there is only 1 submission allowed per user, the second baby will need to be submitted by a second guardian.
Q: What's a digital photo?
A: A digital photo is any photo that is a computer file rather than a photo you can hold in your hands. Most digital cameras and smart phones produce JPEG (.jpg) files.
Q: Is there an another way to enter my photo besides the website?
A: If you do not have web access, you may submit your photo in person at WJBQ studios, One City Center - Portland during the business hours of Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:00pm.
